Altered Frapp. bottles

Today I will be posting this cute little gift that I made for my co-workers in 2009. I had to make 8 of them, so this meant I had to drink alot of frappachino. LOL.

The first thing was to drink the contents of the bottles, then wash and dry the them really good. I made a pattern of the box to cover it. I used solid heavy cardstock for the box and assorted patterned pattern from both from Hobby Lobby for the rest of the box and the bottles. I used a stamp set and scollop punch from Stampin up. I filled the bottles with Powdered hot choc. mix, marshmellow, kisses and choc. covered peppermint sticks. The message on the side was the Snowman soup recipe. Contact me if you would like the recipe. Have a great day.

Bridal Shower Invitation

A friend in my church told me she was going to be hosting a bridal shower for a friend of hers and ask me if I could make her invitations. She needed the wedding colors which were eggplant and cream. I was a little nervous to do these, I wanted them to be perfect. Plus I needed to make 40. Well stampin up had the perfect colors, eggplant and cream. The ribbon I bought at Micheals and the vellum is from Hobby Lobby. Well as you can see they turn out rather cute and all liked them. Hope you had a great 4th.

Happy 4th of July

Well today is the 4th of July, I won't be posting a project today but a scrapbook page that I did in the red, white and blue. This is from when I was about 8yrs old. I remember that I loved this dress! What was I thinking!! And whats up with those bangs? I don't think my mom knew how to cut them straight! LOL. If you have any red, white, blue projects that you would like me to see, post a comment with a link back to your blog I would love to see them.

Happy 4th of July weekend!! Today I will be sharing a great little gift card holder that I made for a girl at work who asked if I could make her something that would hold a gift card and that would be a little different for just an envelope This is what I came up with after looking all over the web. I found this tutorial on you tube. Its very easy to follow. Please leave a comment to tell me what you think.

Another frame

Well here is another frame I made, but with this one I didn't stamp the name I used letters. And some random pattern paper. The frame is from Walmart I think it was $3.00. When you give these as a gift people that have never seen them will rant and rave over them. Give it a try.

Fun Coasters

Here are some coaster that I made using regular ceramic tiles. I used Black Stazs-on ink for the back ground and orange Stazs-on for the letters. You do NOT have to put these in the oven as long as you use Stazs-on ink, I have put them to the test with a bowl of water and the ink does NOT run. I since have made all different ones. These are a great and inexpensive gift (set of 4) Dont forget to put some little cushions on the bottom so they dont scratch the furniture. Also dont buy the tiles that are slick. Good Luck and have fun.

Name Frames

Today I decided to post a name frame that I made at a class last week. I couldn't post earlier because the lady that I was giving it to could have seen it before I gave it to her. Well she recieved it yesterday and LOVED it. I think it turned out really cute. The frame is from Walmart $3 and the stamp set I used is from Stampin up. The paper is random scrapbook paper that I already had. I will have to get this stamp set at our next monthy get together. These were really pretty easy, you do have to use a stampin-ma-gig to get the letters straight and close enough to each other. I am really thinking about making these for all my coworkers for Christmas gifts this year. I am making a scrapbook for this lady too, she is retiring and Thursday will be her last day so I have pic to get printed and pages to get done so til my next post.
